STREET FASHION. THE EXPERIENCE

STREET FASHION. THE EXPERIENCE

Finally the time to post about my experience at street fashion; First of all, let me say, I am a blogger so it’s my job to have an opinion about everything related to what I do, so no hard feelings. So what I am trying to say is, “Nairobi Fashion Market watch out”. Street fashion is the place to be now. I had so much I forgot to eat. In which fashion event do you walk out with two pairs of shoes? Yes ladies two. Remember how I talked about my 15 seconds of fame on my previous post? Here is the thing, there were fashion games organized and the winner gets a voucher to go shopping at Jumia for any item of your choice.  I got shoes of course, time to upgrade, Ankara bye bye. I actually won both competitions and got both vouchers, there was a runway completion and apparently I got that catwalk in the bag, and a posing competition; I vogued it out. If you missed on the event and would like to walk away with a fabulous prize too, like my facebook page and keep visiting the blog as I will update on the next date of the event which will most likely be in September. And here is a sneak pic of one of my new babies (shoes).

The picture was taken today a few minutes ago, and I have one more voucher to go crazy on. Will it be shoes? A handbag, jewellery or clothes? I don't know. Shooooeeeeessss

Everyone was dressed for the occasion and red carpet ready. The girls in this picture are actually twins. Nairobians got style. I approve.

There was food, although I did not have to eat but I had time to take pictures of people eating. Now looking at the picture, I wish I tasted the food. Looks yummy.

It was such a great experience and photos had to be taken, that way the moment lasts longer, you can look at it over and over again.

For my “shisha lovers” That one was available too and smoke up people.

I also got the opportunity to meet up with my awesome friends and take photos.

The party did not end there as there was an after party and I took a few photos of the people who were dancing. I wasn’t. I didn’t want to expose all my talents. Haha

And finally, there were fashion shows. My favorite part, including the red carpet, the runway, winning vouchers... Well I loved every part of it. To see more designers work. I will be posting all designer’s pieces this week and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Lastly a sneak pic with some of the models, I and my friend Joska the trend, the designer. And that is how short I am, Not even half the height of a model, But I model. No one can tell you what you can and can't do. Go after your dreams, let nobody stop you.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VISITING
